    Default trajedy in FL

first off want to send my condolences out to FL ..

now how about this deal ?
1}we give the left bump stock ban
    2}mental health reform as in if a DR finds you mentally unfit AND a judge does also ,then be put in the national NICS/PICS sysyem .{ but with a chance of getting the persons named removed also in the future .}
    and
3}finally close the so called lop hole crap . as in no more person to person direct sales of rifles and or shotguns .

    now we get

    1} national hearing bill passed
2} national repircosity passed in both houses of congress

what does everyone feel about this deal ?

That's a big no because the left wont be compromising, they have absolutely nothing to gain so along with Republican support they are going for it all.

They are going to continue to take more and more. Freely give them these things today and then tomorrow when another shooting happens they are going to be there screaming for more. They do not want to make a deal and I wont bargain for my rights nor will I support anyone that is willing to.

They have made in clear they want assault style weapons and hi cap mags along with more regulations as well as to limit the sale of ammunition and they wont stop until they get it.

    No Thanks!

No compromise. The only side that ever gives up something is the gun owners.

Throw magazines above ten rounds, pistol grips, adjustable stocks, barrel shrouds and "folding things that go up" in the mix while you are at it.

10! who needs 10! You only need 3 or 4 rounds for hunting.

    1) Bump stock was only used in one occurrence (correct me if I'm wrong) so I don't know why that would help solve the problem.
    2) The Govt. never gives anything back.
    3) It's a state right to decide, don't give the fed. more power. See 2 above.

    Isn't #2 already possible/doable?

Part of the firearms owner protection act passed in 1985 was suppose to shield people traveling through anti gun states with firearms from arrest. It hasn't been working to well. We gave up the right to buy new machines guns for that so called privilege . No compromise . Besides it's only going to give the antis a morale booster.

No compromise for mere legislation they can always take back. I'll only compromise if we get a constitutional amendment guaranteeing our right to... oh... wait.

    No compromise.
