Looking for .38 Special +P+
Looking to buy .38 Special +P+. Any leads for online retailers that have it in stock would also be appreciated.

Re: Looking for .38 Special +P+
As far as I know the only reputable manufacture that made 38 special +P+ was Federal 147gr Hydroshock and I am almost positive it's been discontinued. None of the boutique companies like BB, Underwood, OR Leigh Defense make it right now either. It's either pushing it too far or just not something that anyone wants....well except for you.

Re: Looking for .38 Special +P+
There has been a lot of work over the years in duplicating the FBI load. See this thread and links at the S&W Reloading site: http://smith-wessonforum.com/reloadi...-fbi-load.html
There's a difference between pressure and terminal performance. Which is your objective?

Re: Looking for .38 Special +P+
For the prices you'd pay for factory made +p+ 38spl, I recommend reloading. You'll save more in the end
