Re: More from NJ----this guy's a freaking NUT!
Having lived there for over 30 years it is a different state in the sense of the people. It's weird, a NJ Republican is like a Philly Rino. A NJ Democrat is essentially a Marxist whereas a PA Democrat , depending the location can be a gun friendly conservative and Dem in name only. Also, the people are an interesting bunch...the "conservatives" and "limited government" friends I knew there would espouse small government ideals until you ask them to pump their own gas---then they'd go ballistic. I'd be like "Huh---you're joking, right"?

Taylor pork roll is the only good thing to ever come from NJ.
Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while.

Once upon a time in a place far away... I once posted a dymo label with that quote over the door of the admissions office at my university! It took about 2 hours for someone to notice it and in another hour it was gone. Everybody in the office was blaming each other for the sign.
Great amusement was provided!Illegitimus non carborundum est

With all due respect & kindness to the NJ folk that come to poofa whom I feel terribly sorry for
I've long believed that NJ's license plate motto should read "Born to be an Asshole"
*Disclaimer - I know that there are alot of NJ peeps that don't deserve this"It seems that the Constitution is more or less guidelines than actual rules"

Re: More from NJ----this guy's a freaking NUT!
There is a percentage of NJ residents, like anywhere, that represents those who have personally never had any exposure to guns.
One would hope people with no personal experience would assume that position when asked for opinions. Like a person with no medical license would probably and logically have no opinion regarding which procedure is best for a particular surgical case.
Unfortunately, there probably is no such person when it comes to "knowledge" gained by reading newspapers, news magazines, "literature" sent by anti-gun groups, and what guns are capable of as shown in movies and TV.
Those influenced by other than actual experience have a vote and have a part in chit-chat forming an over-all attitude within a general locus. For that reason, I do not concur that there are nice people in NJ who do not deserve our wrath or downlooks.
A female acquaintance with zero gun knowledge or experience, circa 1998, was walking along her rural road and spotted a "bullet" at the edge of the road. She picked it up, read the headstamp, and quickly dropped it back to earth. When she arrived home (I was visiting my friend, her husband) she told me of her find. "357. That's a bad one, I threw it right back". That's just one innocent, nice people voter.

must spread more deplorable love before spreading it to you again.
and to whoever said they were waiting to wake up a felon due to mags... the nice thing about waking up a felon is you no longer have to fear becoming one nor do you have to remain an upstanding, law abiding citizen... lemons meet lemonade. There is no way to make it out alive...
