Suspenders for Conceal Carry?

I'm not overweight, I'm undertall. I'm 5'8" but - according to the charts - I'm supposed to be closer to 6'12"...

I wear Perry suspenders 7 days a week. As I put it: when one's beltline falls south of one's equator, the only other option is cinching the belt to unreasonably tight levels. My EDC is a 5" 1911 in a hybrid IWB at 3:00. I wear the suspenders on the outside and tuck the shirt over the gun at the office, but don't worry about the suspenders getting in the way of anything, as the front hook is around 1:00. When I wear a button shirt over a tee, I wear the suspenders over the tee, under the shirt.

I am pear-shaped, but no ass to speak of.
Even without a carry gun, my pants head for the floor.
My suspenders work a treat.

I've been wearing Perry Suspenders for years, with a strong-side iwb holster, and they work great. After a while the adjusters on the straps may begin to slip but a small safety pin on each strap will keep them right wear you want them without being noticeable or felt.

Update, This is life changing.

I wear the perry suspenders under my t-shirt, overtop of my tank top hooked onto my belt.

I can now carry anything I want IWB without my pants falling down!

Suspenders completely hidden and not noticeable.

At Christmas my wife gave me a few pairs and if I'm not wearing pants with an elastic waistband, I'm wearing them. Here's my favorite method of carry with suspenders. #2 is the shoulder holster with my EDC automatic, but it slows down the process for an emergency bilge pump.

This is another Christmas present (NAA Black Widow in 22LR) and the folding grip was a Valentine's Day gift.
