Re: New K Frame Targets on my Smith & Wesson Model 15
Looks fantastic!
Off topic question....I'm glad to know your routine to get the carbon rings off the front of the cylinder. I know a lead cloth works on stainless...but I'd love to know the best way to get them off a blued cylinder. (I have a Uberti ElPatron that I'd like to keep nice....)

MattMPA, Thanks and Hoppe's #9 plus 0000 steel wool. Don't scrub just buff wipe and repeat as needed.
You'll never get them perfect but that's the price when you shoot such a classic.

Re: New K Frame Targets on my Smith & Wesson Model 15
Thank you! I am aware of what lead cloth will do to a blued gun. (I do use them on my stainless revolvers....)
I will try the 0000 steel wool and Hoppes...with care. I would never have thought of using the steel wool. As much as I'd like to keep the Uberti as nice as possible...I'm not interested in stuff I can't use...so I better get used to it.
