    Yea it seems poofa has mellowed over the years, there was a time this poor guy would have been gang raped over this kind of interaction here, hence the popcorn.

    That said ... every encounter is different with too many factors to have a cut n dry response ready, you won't really know how you'll act until you're in the situation.

    Normally I'm in the do not inform camp (where legal to do so). But getting in the back does present possible issues for the officer. Something as innocent as a round falling out in the back seat would not be looked upon as favorable with a criminal back there! The officer now knows to verify the back to ensure there is nothing back there just in case. And even if no suspect could use it, I am sure it would not look good on the officer's record that he allowed it to happen. But then again, we can argue he should be doing the inspections anyway whenever someone (suspect or not) sits back there.

    Yeah I figured I’d get quite a few saying I shouldn’t of said anything. Everyone has their own opinions, but I’ll take a verbal internet gang raping over the real thing anyday!
