Default Black Powder Revolver -- legal to shoot?

If I am coming to PA from another state with my BPR is it legal to shoot there?

In my state/city (NYC) it is legal to own one (without license) so long as you do not have the materials to shoot it.

But I would like to do some recreational shooting. Would it be legal if I came over to PA, bought the materials, shot some shots, and went home without the materials, all without a license?

    Thanks in advance.

Fire away! Make some smoke for me. Black powder revolvers are largely unregulated here in PA. As long as you are not a prohibited person (convicted felon) and it's legal to discharge firearms where you want to shoot , fire away!

I'm not a lawyer so don't quote me on it but yeah my research confirms it and the retailer that I bought mine from did as well.

I mean, being able to own the black powder revolver but not being able to own or legally obtain its fixings doesn't make any sense, but then again it is New York City.

What's truly amazing is that they actually let the populace purchase or own such things without making them first jump through impossible hoops and pay through the nose.

Of course, perhaps they overlooked the black powder revolver loophole and will now have to fix it.

Tell us the truth, the TV says NYC has the least gun crime of all cities.

I can't believe this guy wants to bring an assault weapon into PA.
