    Default Sheriffs

Does anyone have a list of sheriffs that do non-resident LTCF?

Does anyone have a list of sheriffs that do one stop for issuing a LTCF?

I thought at one time there was a listing.

I do know that the Centre Co. Sheriff will do it one stop. You do have to do it in person now though (at any Sheriffs Office that will do it), can't do it by mail any more.

Berks County is a one stop deal.

I was BSing with Lusk on the phone the other day. We had a few laughs.

    What’s “one stop” issuing?

I've talked to him in person a few times. He seems genuinely like a good guy. When I renewed in December he came out and was talking to us while we waited.

York lets you start the process by mail.
Return the completed application along with $20.00 dollars, cash, check, or money order. Your application will not be processed without these funds! Checks are to be made payable to: Sheriff of York County. Mail application and payment to the address at the bottom of this page.
Once approved, you do have to go in, though.
Licenses must be picked up in person, with your valid drivers license or your state ID as indicated above. Your license will be held for 30 (thirty) days. After that time period, it will be removed from our system and you will have to reapply.

As far as I know Beaver County is still one stop. But I haven’t been there since the new Guy took over.

Edit: for those not from this area, Tony Guy is the sheriff of Beaver County.

The others are you go in and apply and later come back to pick up, (in some counties much later), or in my county you go in and apply and they mail you the permit when it is approved and issued. There are minor variations, but those are the big three and on the spot is the mark of a damn fine sheriffs office IMO. Coinicidentally most all of the on the spot sheriffs are 2A friendly folks, whereas the others not so much.
Oh in that case my Northumberland County sheriff’s office is one stop shop. That is unless their fucking printer isn’t broken or some other lame excuse 🙄
