Maybe someone will answer this. We have only 3 bays available to us for this shoot.
The paper targets set up in the main bay would be destroyed as would the support wood.
Had you posted earlier, I could have modified a steel target stand to attach paper targets that individuals could have brought their own and we could have set up on the right side of the main bay.

This is a good question and perhaps we can address it for future shoots.
I can build it. Just not tonite. Call me a slacker.
Opinions are like anal apertures. They all stink but mine.

PMSC holds public Trap and Skeet shoots on Saturdays (weather permitting). Price is $3.50/round (pay per round, or buy tokens for use later on). Skeet starts at 9 I think? (Don't quote me on that). Trap starts at 10. End time is dependent on how many people show up, it typically goes until at least noon. Members can set up either one at any time the range is open as long as they get the orientation on that respective field (I personally can do skeet). Voice releases are used for both. Shotguns are available for loan if you don't have one.

27hand: No problem at all, was just curious. Definitely not considered slacking in any way!

TooBigToFit: Thanks for that info! I assume you mean those events are open to the public, and not members only? In any case, I hope to learn more tomorrow. [EDIT: Oops, nevermind, I see you said they're public, thanks]

    See everyone soon!

We have shot shotguns on the main bay on paper targets previously with no issues. They do tear up the targets though. But most of them are hosed by the end of the shoot anyways. Once and a while a stick gets shot up, not as much as you might think if you shoot at the closer targets and actually aim. I see no issues at this time.

As far as trap and skeet we don't have the logistics to do this for the group shoot. This is something you'd have to pursue with the club.

Thanks for responding! No need for trap/skeet tomorrow. Was mostly just wondering if there was a spot you could practice with various gauges, just to get some rounds in. Nothing fancy, and not a big deal.

Yeah, you can shoot a shotgun on the main range.
Maybe just stick to one target/stand for the sake of keeping others intact.
    Also not a big deal.
