Default 7.5 FK BRNO Field pistol vs 9X25 dillon EAA witness stock 3 (converted 38 super 6")

7.5 FK BRNO Field pistol $7500

    Vs
    9X25 dillon EAA witness stock 3 (converted 38 super 6") $1500
    witnessstock3.jpg

Help me make up my mind:

    - at the current time it's easier to get 9x25 Dillon ammo ( More options )
But - Which caliber has better stopping power ?

FK brno is a small company
Tanfoglio helped in 7.5 Fk trigger design
Stock 3 is used in 3 gun matches around the world
More expensive is not always better
Stock 3 has soft recoil on the other hand 7.5fk has recoil reduction ( Almost WASH between the 2 )
    But really -
    Which Pistol is better ?

I guess the question is what use? I would lean towards the witness myself, just because I think the fk is way over priced for what it is. Unless you just want something really rare to add to a collection.

You can load 9x25. The fk is way too new and evidently while nice isn’t that nice. You can tune a tanfo up to be ridiculous. Those that handle my stock 2 laugh at how good the trigger is.

The BRNO is nice but at 7500 and a odd caliber I would certainly pass, I'm sure you could purchase a high-end 1911 for half what the BRNO costs that shoots just as accurately or even better. The EAA looks like a nice pistol, probably easier to buy parts for as well as factory support if needed plus im sure ammo is more plentiful and easier to find. What's your purpose for the pistol? Is the BRNO really worth the extra 6 grand?????? Probably not......I'd go with the EAA, save 6 grand or spend that 6 grand on another couple guns, ammo, reloading supplies etc.

I'm just looking for a "practical" longer range powerful pistol round

    1-15 rounds or more mags
    2- fast fallow up shots

A practical pistol doesn't cost $7500.00 in a caliber you cannot find, and I thought I remember hearing there were only a few hundred being imported and only a 1000 total will be made.

Define long range. An FN FiveseveN holds 20-30 rounds, can easily shoot out to 100yds accurately, and there is a variety of ammo available of varying power levels.

If you don't want to spend $1200 on a FiveseveN, get an MPA57DMG pistol. I have the 1st gen model (MPA57SST), and while ugly and very heavy, it's decently accurate out to 100yds. Plus it takes FiveseveN 20 and 30 round mags. And it only cost me $375.

    Pistol long range 150 yards

    Fiveseven is a weak round

10 mm 150 gr bullet is about 1500 fps. The 7.5 FK is about 100 gr 2000 fps. I would pick up a Tanfoglio witness hunter in 10 mm and use the $6k dollars I saved to buy a Dillon 1050 with every option and a lifetime supply of reloading supplies. If i really wanted a long range pistol I would pick up a 460 Smith and Wesson magnum even though it only holds 6 rounds.
