Most police are decent; but occasionally you encounter one who wishes to turn a benign encounter into a crime. Gotta watch for that. I had an uncle who was on homicide in a major city, for 30 years. Every day, he saw the very worst of life. He told me ( concerning policemen who should not be policemen ). There is nothing more dangerous than giving a little power to a little person. When he was an on the beat, walking the street, he caught a guy who was molesting a child in a move theater. That encounter cost him a few months suspension ( with pay ). The perp was not so lucky. I believe he was eating through a tube for quite some time. One day my uncle was dressing for work, and he said to himself; it just ain't getting better. He went in, began to clear up all his files, and finally just retired early. I think his reasoning was, he was always at the scene after the fact; but he also understood, he prevented future killing by nailing the criminals. I guess a job like that finally takes it's toll.

I was stopped in the must inform state of Ohio. I gave the cop my carry licence and told him that I had. He said something like, "Don't pull it out and wave it around." I got a verbal warning and went on my way.
That's how 99% of these things go... but no one believes that.

That will never happen!! You have no clue how things work out on the street!! Donut safety and getting those little power rings home safe at night is more important than your rights. All those little jimmies... the Boston Cream...the glazed. Step out if the car Junior, I'm not telling you twice!

"good, I'm not stepping out, am I free to leave?"
Rules are written in the stone,
Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.

The 1% shouldn't happen. The police have no call to unload or dismantle your gun. They really have no call to take it from you. They have no call to check the "registry" to see if it belongs to you. They have no call to confiscate it if it isn't in the "registry."

That was a one time offer to curry favor with the fuzz.
Of course in your case you need only give me heads up you're stopping by; and bring permission from Her and a copy of your blood work.
I would not want the artery clogging confections to add to your misery.

Dont even get me started on the registry that isnt. There is a new thing coming out now that is totally screwed up that I'm gonna post about once I can wrap my head around it.
