I don't find anything wrong functionally with Glocks. I don't own one. It's unlikely that I will. I find them not a good fit to my hand. It's a personal thing. Some don't like what I like. I think that is why there are so many different handguns out there. If a Glock works for you, I'm fine with that. Just don't try to make me believe they are the best thing since sliced bread.

SOCOM ...FBI...and almost 2/3 of the law enforcement community use Glocks not to mention the millions of them in the hands of civilians. You would think that there would have been a task force similar to the opioid crisis driven by the wave of injured reholster victims overrunning emergency rooms with gunshot wounds to the leg. Fear is a great sales tactic.

It seems to me, what people are getting at is most people have an instinctive reaction to put their trigger finger on the trigger. It takes training and constant practice to not do that. I own a XD that works the same way a Glock does as far as a "trigger safety". Of course, Springfield calls it something different than Glock does.

Could not believe the story at first but then givig thought about what the LEO did I can only say he was most probably trying to impress upon his partner his expertise in disassembling your Glock and when it came time to re-assemble he could not do it.Yes I believe this could have happened,Yes some LEOs (not me ) are not fully trained in gun assembly and disassembly,hell some of them only range time when and if required and some ,here it comes years ago NYPD officers would never ever clean their S&W model 10 causing failure in drastic situations.Yes I would be offended giving back the firearm in that condition giving Glocks are seconds to assemble but would laugh at the in-eptness of this LEO.Heck I would just stay out of reading. I think I would have had him reassemble mine. If he screwed it up, its on him. Would it have been too much to ask to run a function check on it in your presence before taking it back? What if later you needed it and he messed up the reassembly. I do not own glocks, but I do know that some firearms can be tricky and improper handling during disassembly and reassembly can mess them up their actions. I think you have an anti-2A trooper here messing with you. Given that Wolf is running the show, the PSP may be operating under anti-2A guidelines given to them by their superiors. The heads of the NYSP and the NJSP are openly anti-2A. Leadership sets the tone.

Beyond some policy shit like Rendell deciding we wouldn't print for ATF stuff, nobody changes how they do business due to the current occupant of the governors mansion. Policy initiatives can effect enforcement IE forming task forces etc. to tackle the govs particular peeves.
