*CLASS STARTS AT 8:00AM - PLEASE BE THERE NO LATER THAN 7:45AM FOR SET UP AND SAFETY BRIEFING. BE ON TIME - your time is everyone else's time!

What do you when you firearm goes down? What do you do when you have to fight thru an injury?

This class focuses on various loading and reloading techniques, and dealing with clearing malfunctions and fighting through an injury, in various positions and situations. Dealing with less than perfect scenarios under stress that would otherwise render your firearm and yourself, useless.

*Please note this is a physical class and will involve some fast movement, running and carrying of heavy objects.

PREREQUISITES:

Student should know and be able to perform all aspects of safe firearm handing. Students should be familiar with the workings and function of their pistol.

COURSE BREAKDOWN:

- Range orientation

- Firearms safety

- Warm-up drills

- Ready positions

- Close quarters engagements

- Drawing and re-holstering techniques

- Reloading techniques

- Malfunction clearance drills

- Single hand techniques

- Failure drills

- Disabled tactics

- Cover versus concealment

- Use of cover

- First aid / trauma care applicaton

- working with a partner

- proper application of torniquets (will be supplied)

EQUIPMENT LIST:

-Quality functional semi-automatic pistol or revolver (9mm, .40S&W, 45ACP, 38 Special, 357 Magnum, etc.).

-3 magazines minimum for semi autos, speed loaders for revolvers.

-Minimum of 450 rounds of brass cased pistol ammunition (no steel cased ammunition)

- 5 rounds of pistol dummy ammunition

-Belt mounted, dominant side kydex holster —PLEASE NO BLACKHAWK SERPA, Uncle Mike's or flimsy nylon or cloth holsters.

Students are encouraged to run this class in their everyday concealed carry set up.

-Magazine or loading device pouches / magazine carrier, etc.

-Ammunition dump pouch (optional) - we will have several on hand to loan.

-Sturdy belt at least 1.5” wide

-Footwear suitable for rapid movement and turning with good ankle support.

-Disposable clothing suitable for training in any weather – long pants – long sleeve shirt, hoodie or jacket for cold weather. What you wear to this class maybe unwearable after. Please do not wear anything to this class you intend on keeping or wearing again. We will be incorporating fake blood, bandages, and other non removeable training equipment that may permanently stain clothing.

-Wraparound eyewear, polycarbonate lenses or non-shattering prescription glasses

- Quality ear protection (electronic preferred)

- Quality eye protection

- Note pad and pen for taking notes.

- bag lunch and snacks / beverages for the entire day.
