    Default Gen 1 Glock 17

Excellent condition, 1 mag and original Tupperware, cleaning rod and brush $535 otd. Do it or nay ? Some crazy prices on GB - One recently sold for $1,050. Decisions.

I'm not a Glock expert and wouldn't know the subtle differences so personally I wouldn't pay that for a shooter for my own use. If your intention is to flip it and know that's a certain return, I'd do it in a second.

A Gen 1 G17 at $535 OTD in the box is as cheap as it gets for a not particularly common piece that some consider a collectible.

Usually Gen 1 G17s have been rode hard and put up wet without a combout.

Decent condition in a box? Do it.

Ask yourself, "Would I buy a 1st generation VW Beetle for the price of a 2017 version?"

If the answer is yes, pull the trigger!

Lol. Thanks all. Oh, I bought it. Was holding a nice SIG 365 while there too. Super nice gun. Feels great and great trigger. I’ll post pic of Glock from home in a bit. It’s nice

If I could get a working, good condition 1949 bug (first year US import) I think it would be worth a good bit more than a new one.

Since there were only 2 sold in the U.S. that year, I'd wager you're right.
