I have a recce 7, which can attach to all my rifles (except the 22LR and 22-250)

I have an osprey 45, which can attach to almost all of my pistol

I need to get a 22LR can, and I'm set.

The Osprey was a quiet can, 7 or so years ago when it came out.
The closest thing before it and the TiRant was the Hems2 from SWR that was "hearing safe" and had to shot wet.
I own an Osprey, quality can, neat design, but there are way better choices out there now.
Even if you have to install suppressor sites if you can't shoot with both eyes open like NathanB suggested.

    I recommend this.
It's the can that made me very disliked here around the start of Last year. But it's worth it. I've shot it with both super- and subsonic ammo. With winter being around in force I've done most of my shooting indoors. The only thing I haven't been able to shoot minus hearing protection is shoot supersonic ammo with it indoors. Out Doors I never need hiring protection At All.

IMO Gemtech dropped the ball changing to the GM22 over the time tested and proven Outback2

So If I was looking for 3 basic suppressors to do it all, what would you all recommend?

Do it all from what calibers?
Typically people buy a 30 caliber a pistol caliber and a 22 can.

Yep as Nathan pointed out that is a tough question to answer. I read a lot of comments from folks that would recommend a .30 cal can for rifle, a .45 can for pistol, and a .22 rimfire can capable of handling .22 mag and .17. * If you shoot .338 or .50 or shotgun, well that is a whole other thing.

The downside to going bigger is size and weight. The not so important factor is sound reduction. Generally the bigger cans handle smaller calibers almost as effectively and in some cases maybe even better than caliber specific because of larger internal volume, especially if you can change end caps.

As I mentioned in my ealier post- I am just not a rimfire fan. The stuff is very dirty and I hate prolonged cleaning sessions.

So with all of that in mind my recommendation would be maybe a .30 cal can, 5.56 can, and a pistol caliber can- 45 if you need it or a 9 if that's all you will shoot from a suppressed hand gun. The smaller the suppressor I can put on a handgun the better.

    * ask djeuch about his Optimus that does them all....save a lot of tax stamp money that way

If it were me right now I would go all Rugged as they have a great product and all are modular. Obsidian 45 (I have one), Surge 7.62 and Oculus .22. All can be shortened for weight savings on smaller hosts.

    Dead air is another.
    I’ve got a Yankee hill lta30
    Gemtech gm9
    Dead air mask pending
    Griffin armament Recce 5 pending
And a Sig Sauer srd338ti pending

I thought I’d get two and be done. As you can see that didn’t last.
