1916 Spanish Mauser in good shape - Worth it?
Found a guy in Texas, private sale, ships C&R - wants $275 shipped for a 1916 Spanish Mauser in 7x57. Pics look good. Is that the right price range for this rifle? I wanted to get a Milsurp bolt action short rifle. I have a great 1939 Mosin, and plenty of ammo for it. Would it be wiser to to look for an M44/T53 so I can ammo share, or is the Mauser action worth it? Thanks!

Yes that is a good price for the 1916 Spanish. At least according to my edition of Standard Catalog of Military Firearms.
