Pheasant hunting at powderbourne in pennsburg.
I was thinking about doing some hunting with my Cousin this weekend, kind of a last minute thing and he mentioned powderbourne. I am not much of a preserve or canned hunt kind of guy but with having some major health issues the last 2 years I haven't been able to do any type of hunting at all. I just want to get out for a few hours and maybe get some meat for the freezer while I am at it.
I did a quick search and the last talk about this place was back in 2012 so I am looking for some more up to day information.Last edited by Hodgie; January 31st, 2018 at 06:21 PM.

Thanks but I already checked out the site, I was looking for some more recent hunter feedback on the Pheasant hunting and if it was worth the $100 it's going to cost me or not. Searching on Google the latest feedback I could find was from 2013 and a few going back to 2007. Not much information out there on this operation other then how excellent their bacon is at their breakfast.

Don't know anything about powderbourne but if you're in the Pennsburg area, the best place to go for breakfast is the Strawberry House. Their bacon and sausage are excellent.

I hunted this place with my dad a few years ago. Was fun, but there were a lot of guys there. My issue was that due to the volume of hunters, you have to have your head on a swivel. We could hear the pellets hitting the trees next to us. For a better hunt, check out pheasant valley farms or bitners wild wings. Bitners offered the best and most realistic hunt, being the only one on the property hunting.
