Had you thought about being proactive with management? Sit down and find out their views on the issue. Even if you explain how she's behaving and your concerns about escalation.

Chances are she's only whined to stockboys or other customers, not management. That's how most of them behave.

Joking aside, I agree.

Talk to store management. Tell them she's harassing you. Tell them you feel like she's stalking you. Tell them SHE makes you uncomfortable for simply exercising your legal & constitutional right. Point out that you're a regular/no-problems customer known to and greeted by the staff, Etc.

As you are in there so often with your family, even though it may be you and your firearm she is targeting, I think
it is very important to emphasize that she is stalking/harassing your family, and her outbursts are frightening to your
children.

I think if it comes down to her vs the gun you might have a tough fight to win. Make it about your family and your kids
and the dynamic changes. Management may be much more sympathetic when they begin to see her as the aggressor
and instigator, especially when children are caught up in the fray.

I am half waiting for this too. Here's the thing: management sees me there every week with a huge basket of groceries. As I said, all the employees, and even management, greet me when they see me. We've been doing this for years. We drop over 200 bucks just on that groceries every week. Many times we are there at the food court eating lunch or a quick dinner. Our family is a big spender there.

200 X 52 = 10,400 you said plus so I rounded down and left out the food court $$. Let management know what kind of $$$$ you are dropping in the store per year. I let people know I vote with my wallet, and you should too. My best boycott to date is going on twenty two years and that is against a gun club.
