Cool Re: Shop rite lady at it again.

If she's a big fat woman , consult the book of Al Bundy's Insults for Fat Women.

Give me a head's up next time you go. I'll go and open carry too.

I am half waiting for this too. Here's the thing: management sees me there every week with a huge basket of groceries. As I said, all the employees, and even management, greet me when they see me. We've been doing this for years. We drop over 200 bucks just on that groceries every week. Many times we are there at the food court eating lunch or a quick dinner. Our family is a big spender there. *If* I am asked about my open carry, I will politely tell them that my family and I can take our hundreds of dollars a week elsewhere. If it comes to that. We'll see what happens.

Plus, I would guess they may feel a little more protected with you in the store. A lot more than the clucky, chicken lady....

Me personally, I would welcome OC customers in my grocery store. Having security in almost every aisle can't be a bad thing.

I have had people come up to me and tell me they feel safer seeing my pistol. I'm also aware of many people around me are probably concealing. Just the other day at WaWa, I was OCing a Smith & Wesson 539. A man asks me, 'is that a kimber'. I tell him S&W. Then, the man in line lifted up his shirt and showed his 'Glock 357'. At Chik fila, I was OCing a .45 and a gentleman complimented it, and then pressed his shirt to show the outline of his Glock.

Just explain that she has nothing to worry about, all that blubber she's sporting would save her from an AT-4.
