Default Aguilla mini's out of the shockwave

I finally found some mini's and had an opportunity to shoot them. I have the opsol mini clip insert in the shockwave and had no feed issues.

If you have a shockwave you have to try them. My son and I were both grinning ear to ear. Everytime I fired the shockwave with the 2 3/4's I felt a sense of impending broken nose while sighting down the barrel. With these the recoil is suprisingly manageable. It may be the funnest firearm I have ever shot.

I'll bring a bunch to the first group shoot for people to try out.

I think WCMG's full auto Tommy gun was more funnest ...

A Thompson is hard to beat! But you will love the shockwave. I'll reserve a tube full for you if you make the shoot.

I too have shot the Mini's out of my 18" mossie with a birds head grip (made pre-shockwave...) an absolute blast to shoot !! My only concern is the opsol insert came loose after 20 rounds - whether it was inserted incorrectly or just not super tight in my gun I don't know - I will have to try it again this spring and see how it holds up before I could trust it for home defense. I really like this combination though, soft recoil, easy to shoot, and increased firepower - what's not to like?

Grab some 2 1/4" Herter's mini buck from Cabela's. That's a GREAT round out of the shockwave. $0.60 a piece. A nice compromise between full power and the 1 3/4" Aguila. No mini clip required for flawless feeding.

if you get ~13.75" of mag tube, how many mini shells can you load, 7+1 Aguila minis / 6+1 of the Herter's ?

Never heard of these (Herter's mini...) I'll have to try them ! I like the added firepower of the Aguila, but would rather not have to rely on an, albeit well made, peice of rubber modification... and having the ability to shoot all sizes reliably without having to remove it makes more sense to me.

I'm pretty sure I can fit nine mini shells in the tube of my shockwave.
