Craigslist Trolls
The trolls of Craigslist need to find a new hobby. I know the rule clearly states no reloading materials but on any given day you'll find plenty of components, tools, presses, etc. What happens when I post an ad advertising some brass or bullets? Yep, some idiot has to get their panties in a knot and be all offended. Despite the below rules my local Craigslist site currently has a Rem 35 Whelen (yes, the rifle), a rifle stock, 3 ads for RCBS dies, a starter pistol, scopes, sights, and a gun light. To get by the Craigslist police it's all about the wording and apparently they know what "6.5mm 140gr SP" means but they cannot decipher "Rem 35 Whelen".

Re: Craigslist Trolls
Yes, I've seen pretty creative ways of circumventing the rules. Check this one out.

That's got to be one very special Glock to be worth $900. I don't think I'd pay that much for used even if it were a matching pair.

Re: Craigslist Trolls
When you consider the audience, it would be wise to throw it up for a ridiculous amount, on the off chance that some basement-dweller sees it and just buys because it's a "click click", thinking he's getting away with something because it's on Craigslist - even though a transfer is required.
Lots of suckers out there. That's how gun show vendors set their prices. LOL!

Re: Craigslist Trolls
The only recommendation I would make is that when you exchange cash for merchandise, to do it in a very public place with plenty of people around. I certainly wouldn't invite a CL buyer into my house and I would have reservations about going into a seller's home.
YMMV

Re: Craigslist Trolls
I see this all the time. I don't think CL removes the ads unless they get multiple reports that it's against the rules. I have been seeing this one guy post a kimber 1911 and an AR on the barter page for months. He posts it again after it gets taken down.
