Thumbs up RUGER SECURITY NINE RANGE REPORT

Liked what I have been hearing so picked up this new 9mm.Fist off the magazines are compatible with the new Ruger carbine ! what I dont care for is the saftey will not engage without cocking the firearm, not a big problem in my book, also the trigger guard is a bit larger accomodating gloved fingers or with bandaids on finger not that after 200 rounds I had any wear and tear on the trigger finger.ammo WWB and Critical defense loads at 7 yards a bit winday and 30 degrees I held 2-3 inch groupings with a slight windage tweak. At 25 yards 4-5 inch groupings dead on target a full silhouettte.I like the thinner grip a lot as my G 19 was always a bit blocky. Not one issue No FTFs No FTEs,will say groups were just a hair better with the critical defense,go figure that.I also felt a bit lighter on CCW in a belt right hand holster more comfortable if you will.I rate this new Ruger Security Nine a 9 out of 10 for just the individal reasons I have stated. Will follow up with our new Ruger Carbines soon.Sorry no pics wife would not get out of the car she was too cold ! The bit with the mags working in the carbine makes me suspect that 17 round Ruger American mags will work in the security 9.
