I’m honestly shocked that there are still video rental stores around. I haven’t seen one in almost a decade. Apparently Family Video is the country’s largest remaining video rental store with 775 stores.

Family Video robbed, police looking for armed suspect

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – South Bend Police are looking for the person who robbed employees of Family Video at gunpoint Wednesday night.

According to officers, the suspect entered the store on Portage Avenue around 7:40 p.m. He walked up to the counter and demanded money while displaying a gun.

The suspect grabbed an unknown amount of cash and ran from the scene.

The subject police are looking for is described as a black male, wearing all black and a mask.

I was shocked to find several video stores still in business up here, Clearfield has at least 2.
