Oaks Gunshow Feb 9, 10 & 11, 2018

I went to a couple Valley Forge shows and they were similar to the Oaks shows. Not as big though. I have been to an oaks show at least once a year since they started. They seem the same to me. Maybe a few more junk vendors but they are definitely bigger overall than when they started.

The old Valley forge gun show was great, That was before oak gun show time.

I heard the new valley forge is as trash as the new oak show.

I recall working a few Valley Forge Sheraton shows when they used two floors. Back around '89-'91.

The VF gun show went on until at least June of 2011 as from my C&R Records I purchased a HAFSADA (modified 1911) from there and maybe even the next year when I purchased a Lee-Enfield 0.303 rifle though I did not mark down where only from whom in my bound book, so Oaks has only been going from probably late 2012. I did go to the Ft Washington GS once, then rapidly went back to VF. Anyone remember "Tophat" who used to have some excellent cleaning stuff. Dave_n

They came back one more time a few years ago. I remember there was a huge snow storm and little promotion.
