Folks, there's a flu epedemic going around. It's bad enough that schools are closing for disinfection and to give the flu time to die off in the affected communities. The flu shot this year is less than 10% effective for prevention.

I like the Oaks show ... it's the one I'm most likely to visit. Given the epidemic, the packed crowds, the really crappy ventilation, and the "want, not need" nature of such a trip, I'll hold off 'til the next one, or until the bug dies out.

I was thinking about skipping it because of my type 2 problem. This flu is killing healthy people, not just people with chronic conditions.

Why not just buy a new one from Tanner's for $365? I doubt you're going to find a used Sub 2k Gen II at Oaks, and even if you did, it probably won't be priced better than buying new. The prices on guns at these shows can be downright ridiculous.
