Carrying in Blair county
I was just curious if anyone had anything to say about carrying in Blair county?
How promptly will Sheriff Field issue a LTCF?Machinist for hire - Get a hold of me if you need something made

Re: Carrying in Blair county
Carrying in Blair county could not be any easier. The process to get your permit takes about 20 minutes. Fill out the form, pay the fee, get your picture taken and be on you way.
Pretty simple stuff.

Blair County has a really good sheriff. When you walk into his office make sure ya take a look at all the cool stuff under the glass. Him and I BS'ed today for about 20 min about ar's after he got done signing my 5320.1 for my SBR.

Re: Carrying in Blair county
The sheriff does not have to be there to do a LTCF. He was not the one that did mine, to get that you just walk in and the paperwork is on the countertop infront of you. Grab one and start filling it out and let whoever comes up know you are there for a LTCF.
As far as NFA stuff, i don't know what you would want to ask him? Just get your forms that you need signed, and give him a call before you show up. Tell him you will be stopping in and for what, and ask if he will have time to fill them out. No sense going in when he may be out doing something or not in the office.I can take an assbeating like its nobodys business" - Doug Bryant

Ditto to the sheriff signing off on your LTCF, no problem.
He actually really helped me out when it came to signing off on my .22 can, but as far as your NFA if your going in you can ask him to schedule an appointment or call and leave him a message, he actually gets back to you.The resident Saiga snob

Sherrif Fields was very cool when I called and asked to set up an appointment to get my Form 1 signed. I had everything in a nice folder for him to sign, and offered to drop it off if he was busy, but he said no problem, and just gave me a time to stop in and see him. He was really cool.

Great guy to deal with. Im kicking around the ideal out building a SBR and have no worries about him signing off.
