Can you add some Beretta 93r components to a 92fs?
Hello,
First off: I am not asking if i can convert a 92fs into a select fire or burst fire pistol. Just starting with that.
I have an 92fs italian and i love it. It doesnt serve any practical purpose for me but as a range toy. I've owned it for a long time and was looking to change it up a little.
I was looking into adding the brown wood grips to it and give it a retro look and I saw pictures of the classic 93r. I like the odd little foregrip and the barrel/muzzle device. I've never been into fake suppressors or changes based on looks before. I know I can get the grips but:
Is it possible to get the 93r barrel and the foregrip and put it on a 92fs?
I know it is kind of a dumb subject but i've had a lot of time on my hands, I think it would be fun to have a 93r "retromod".
Thanks.

you would have to register it with the atf as an AOW or sbr to add the forward grip.

Adding a second grip to any handgun creates an Any Other Weapon - which is a $200 NFA tax stamp to "manufacture" it.

That is probably why there is no "clone market" for this.
Thanks.
