Default State Museum, Harrisburg PA.... CC?

I did a quick search here and Google. No definitive info. My girlfriend and I plan on going this afternoon. I haven't been here since elemtary school on a field trip. Is this considered a State/Federal building, or is "state" just in the name? Is concealed carry legal here? Or "not allowed" here?

    "State/Federal building"?

I realize that there are buildings that can have both state and federal offices in them, but I believe that there is a BIG difference (when it comes to gun laws) between a purely state and purely federal building. Having said that, i don't have an answer to your question.

Bumping this: #2 and I were in Harrisburg yesterday and walked over to the museum to kill some time. To the right of the main door, it said No weapons, firearms or explosives. If this is a public building, how is that legal? We didn't go in, so we don't know if they were guards there or metal detectors.

Well, I guess this proves No Guns signs work. A serious crime was prevented. You went there planning to kill time. But you were stopped by the No Gun sign and was unable to carry out your nefarious plan of time killing.
It is you. You have all the weapons that you need. Now fight. --Sucker Punch

Just went there yesterday. No metal detectors, no guards, just a sweet little ol lady behind the desk in the center.

I was there 2 weeks ago, and it was posted at the front door - No Weapons.
