Waiting for...."I threaded my can on it and got a baffle strike. Why?"

Re: Franklin Armory Introduces Short Barrel 'Firearm'
That's the secret? For days I've been taxing my brain trying to figure out their angle to see if it could replicated and that's it?
What the fuck goes on at a Franklin Armory Monday morning meeting? They must have one hell of a think tank there.

I'm not knocking them, I too like the binary better than a bump stock.
It's just amazing to me that such a simple modification to the manufacturing process can totally circumvent the NFA.
Like when I see one of those "As seen on TV" products and I think...why didn't I think of that?

And one hell of an understanding of what is and what isn't, when it comes to violating the NFA rule book. I like the idea of binary triggers and the new pistol design. I would never pay 2K for that type of pistol. I think the think tank is filled with lawyers and engineers, pure F'ing genus!

Im with you bud.
Realistically, if anyone uses a rifle to defend themselves, its not going to be past 50 yards.
I always chuckle when I see "bubba" at the range with an AR and some long range hunting scope on it. They always say the same thing "I can hit a target out to 500 yards with this!".
Well, if you shoot a person at 500yards or even 100 yards youre going to have a lot of explaining to the judge about how your life was in immediate danger.
The part of the nation we live in, weve got trees, bindings and other natural barriers. Its not like we live in Nebraska or Kansas where you can see for thousands of yards out of your window.
My personal go to rifle is my 10.5" barrel.
