Machine Guns from the Great War (WWI)
Once you get over the length of his hair, just a great amount of history here. Really took me to school.

The web site is ForgottenWeapons.com.
Was just a great video on heavy machine guns in WWI.- bamboomaster

Re: Machine Guns from the Great War (WWI)
Ian is sort of the ultimate gun geek. Slightly hippy, extremely well informed and completely into his guns. I love viewing his Youtube videos where he generally takes the gun out and does a pretty decent job of shooting it in the video.

Re: Machine Guns from the Great War (WWI)
I have been watching Forgotten Weapons for years now Ian really is a wealth of knowledge in so many realms of firearms. He is currently writing a book on French weapons which is his 1st love and co authored Larry Vickers new Small arms of WWII book. I also am a huge fan of his 2nd collaboration channel InRangeTV who will be working with The Great War channel this year on starting and going through the entirety of WWII on every front.
I clearly watch a lot of youtube.Join the GOA & save $5.00. https://www.gunowners.org/mac-subs-join-goa.htm

Re: Machine Guns from the Great War (WWI)
If you like Ian, you may like the channel The Great War. Every week they go over a weeks worth of the war. They have many other videos that answer questions and have toured the tank museum in Bovington, England.

He is a wealth of information, but I didn't like his comment on the franchi spas12.
He said it wasn't made for "sporting purposes". Tha's not helping us Ian...
