How can this not be an SBR?
See I knew somebody would but holey moley one reply later. Fun wrecker! Let many cats out of bags? Pee on parades a lot?

Id really like the whole SBR thing to go away though.
What do they care of you put a stock on a pistol?
You'd think law enforcement would like people making pistols more difficult to conceal.

And as much as I would like to see the whole suppressor issue be a non NFA item, I think it would be easier to argue and overturn the Short Barrel rifle laws first.
While a stock on a pistol sounds fun, I think they are more concerned about everybody walking around with an obrez.

So that means you will need to do a recorded transfer.
Wait you gotta go to an FFL to do a person-to-person transfer of a shockwave? Damn, I don't have to do that in New Jersey!

I predict poking the bear isn’t going to go so well for these loopholes very shortly

Notice the "selector" in the press release. It is a clue and it is highlighted in red. Either they made a rifle with all positions as a safety (So it can never fire) or like someone else mentioned it only shoots by trigger release.

The third option of the selector is what you use when you pull the trigger and decide not to shoot?

The red is a sticker that comes with the Franklin Binary trigger. They insist in the installation instructions to install it during the trigger install. I'm sure for liability reasons.

I would like to know the ballistics.
Is it comparable to a .44mag or 500sw?

Not to get too far off topic, but I'd think that would be ammo dependent as well as how short you cut the barrel.

When I had a mosin, the quality of the ammo was all over the place with surplus. I was able to recover a few keyholed rounds completely in tact at roughly 25 yards with almost no damage from impact against a piece of plywood holding the target.

I watched a vid of one last night. Some would blow bottles of soad to bits,
some would just put holes in them. Pretty cool though.
