    You are correct!

    I had a semi 1919 (sold around 2007) and a M2-HB (sold in 2011) and I got rid of both due to the support that goes along with having a belt fed. The M2 is the worst, 84lb gun, 44lb tripod, spare barrel and certain parts, and heavy ammo. I used to bring 500-800 rounds to each shoot. Mine was a TNW in the 150s serial number and it ran great. I heard that the earlier ones had many issues. I got $8000 when I sold it, more than I paid for it. Same with the 1919.

    Lug around a M2-HB a number of times and the novelty wears off quick. I have more fun bringing out the 20mm Lahti, and that turns heads more than the M2.
