Holy shit. My whole setup didn't cost that much. It is pretty cool, but no way I'm paying that.

Yea, the price sucks but look at what it does. I won't run out and get one but I really want one.

The first one they release has all the bells and whistles to showcase the tech and woo the hardcore guys. The second gen will most likely have a stripped down cheaper version for the average joe.

    Other than range
The first thing bow hunters need to learn is trigonometry.
All these gadgets are a joke.
The error from an elevated stand is the least worry.
From a 20' elevation and a distance of 15 yds to a target the difference from the ground is about 4 feet. Zilch to a bow hunter, especially that distance.
At 30 yds it's half that, and so on. Not a worry.

The biggest problem hunters have is they don't practice from their stand because it's a PITA. Your body mechanics are completely different from an elevated position. That's what fucks up most shots.

    As for Garmin fuck them.

When they can fix my GPS to not run me down every goat path to save 10 feet, regardless of the settings, I'll pay attention.
