Re: Glock 19X, anyone planning on looking into it?
The difference in sight radius between the 17 and 19 is pretty insignificant for any practical shooting.
Competition shooting? Maybe."One must be a fox to recognize traps, and a lion to frighten wolves” ~ Machiavelli

Re: Glock 19X, anyone planning on looking into it?
Its a Glock 19, nothing was "reduced".
Magazine capacity was increased however.
Its the same exact principle of carrying a flush fitting 17 round magazine in a Glock 19.
I dont understand where people get this idea that something was sacrificed.
They aren't false advertising it as a model 17.
Police and Military all over the planet have been using the Glock 19 for decades with extremely positive results.
So, Glock designed this model 19 with some extra capacity (which is a good thing) and people act like its somehow inferior to previous Glock 19's."One must be a fox to recognize traps, and a lion to frighten wolves” ~ Machiavelli

Re: Glock 19X, anyone planning on looking into it?
Its a Glock 19 with an extended magazine well because they called it a Glock 19. The only thing keeping it from being a Glock 17 with a short barrel is semantics.
If you were carrying a Glock 19 and felt that you were handicapped by the 15 rounds on deck (which in and of itself is silly) why would you not just carry a Glock 17? What advantages does this 19X offer over the already existing pistol built on that frame? Tacticool colorway? Lanyard loop?
ETA: This pistol is coming to market so that Glock can recoup some of the r&d money they spent in the process of failing to sell this gun to the military.Last edited by marinville; January 12th, 2018 at 09:07 PM.

I don't watch many Yankee Marshall videos however I noticed a common theme. He doesn't have the gun, doesn't fire the gun, doesn't touch the gun nor even do much research on the gun. Just rants about everything. The guy really should step up his game more so he looks at least a little bit less like a whiny douche.
