For concealed carry I’d rather have a 19XL with a 34 length slide since my hands fit the 19 length frame perfectly. The only time I’d want a full sized frame with a shorter barrel would be a colt python 2.5” or an S&W 27 with 3” barrel just for range trips.

But I really, REALLY hate the camel shit brown color that every gun seems to be made in nowadays.

Anyone who already owns a G19 can use the 17 round mag with an x grip on it. I carry one as a spare for my everyday carry G19 and this gives my 32 rounds total.

Damn. I’ll have to keep an eye out for a new companion to my trusty old Glock 27.

We are supposed to be going back to all 9mm in the future and this would work out well !

There was a time back in the 90's when the short slide/full size grip was actually more concealable. It was a time before paddle holsters, and belt carry wasn't as cool as wearing a shoulder holster. The short slide carried across your ribs easier without sticking out behind you and printing the muzzle. The full sized grip gave you more rounds- remember the '94 AWB limited your double stack to 10 rounds unless you went and bought a $79 preban magazine!

You kids these days don't know how lucky you've got it, with comfortable kydex holsters and compact pistols that hold more rounds standard than our full sized single stacks.

This was my reaction yesterday when the Bunker in warminster posted pictures of some. It looks very nice. I don't hate the 19x but I don't really like it either. I agree on the color but I think that about guns that are entirely another color other than black. I really like two-tone but the all FDE is not my thing.
