Default Glock 19X, anyone planning on looking into it?

At first I thought I知 not at all interested then I watched Sootch00s review and it has me thinking. I don稚 know where the price will come in but I知 about due for a new gun and I知 not sure about the Canik now. What are the forums thoughts? The color is not a factor either way for me. I値l have to wait until they start showing up in shops to really think hard about them.

I would like one just because it was made for the military MHS aspect of it and it looks like an excellent well balanced shooter but money wise it's not in the cards for me now.

I think Buds sent me an email earlier this week about a pre order the price was around $650.00ish if I remember correctly which is about $50.00 higher then it really should be as compared to standard Glocks.

This video just came out earlier today and gives a pretty good all around review based on 2500+ rounds.

I couldn't be less interested. Short barrel and long grip? So you mean I get velocity loss, reduced sight radius AND it will be more difficult to conceal? No thanks. Pretty much the opposite of anything I would want. Mate a 17 barrel with a 19 grip and MAYBE I'll be interested.

The Army wanted the exact opposite.

Will Fobus make a holster for them?

Don't know but it would fit nicely in my 19/17 Safari Land ALS.

I understand that, but it does nothing to win me over. I'm not the army and the army doesn't carry concealed. For my purposes, this pistol its terrible.

Not interested here. I will, however, get a Gen 5 26 when it comes out later this month.
Now less Glock, more H&K :)

I would be, if I had the cash. Most of the MHS guns don’t interest me, but this one does, for some reason. If nothing else, it’s nowhere near as fugly as the ARX...

I am curious about the reasoning behind the short slide/long grip. Colt did that years ago with a 1911 (the Recon, IIRC, with a commander frame and officers slide) and it didn’t last long.

I may be interested if it was not a Gen5 and pretty much all my Gen3 spare parts are useless on it. I am also seeing from guys that reload for them that the throats are shorter on the new Gen5 barrels. I want to shoot cast and short throats are a pain with cast.
