Default Got my LTCF from Philadelphia county in 13 days

Just wanted to give the PPD a little praise. Went in for my LTCF on a Friday recently, and 13 days later on Thursday I had the approval letter in my mailbox. Officers at the GPU were all courteous and helpful. Overall, a much better experience than I anticipated.

Holy shit, that's one of the signs of the apocalypse. Other signs include Philly not smelling like piss and the Eagles winning the superbowl.

Sounds like things have changed for the better down at the new GPU.

I took over 45 days. Applied late November came in today with no letter for a status check. I waited and was given shit for not having a little slip they give you after an interview. I luckily found it in my wallet.

Also my picture sucked. I took off my hat, and they took it with my eyes half closed and hat hair. I didn't see the pic until it was printed on my LTC. When I asked about it they said they could revoke it and give me a new one with a better pic. No thanks. As always stay classy and professional PPD GPU.

Ehh, I suppose it's good relative to previous Philly standards. But not good relative to the numerous counties (including nearby Montgomery and Bucks) that do it in 20 minutes.

I would sue. Possibly class action. I have seen some other CCW photos, I think they do it on purpose!

[I]''I have seen some other CCW photos, I think they do it on purpose!''

The police don't ask if ya like yer mugshot when arrested. They've got to be the most unflattering pics ever taken.

When I get mine taken at Montco Sheriffs , they take one , show me on the computer screen, ask if I like it and will take another if not happy.
    I don't speak English , I talk American!
