Re: How early can I reapply for my CC permit before it expires.
- The PA LTCF costs a hair over 1¢ per day. Losing a few days to early renewal costs less than extra cheese on a burger. Just do it.
- My first LTCF, applied for in Feb 2013 in Delaware County, took 46 days.
- DelCo's instructions for applying ( http://www.co.delaware.pa.us/sheriff...nstruction.pdf ) state:YOU MAY APPLY UP TO 2 MONTHS PRIOR TO YOUR EXPIRATION DATE. YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED BY MAIL AS TO YOUR APPROVAL OR DENIAL.
- Since my current LTCF expires 3/21 the first day I can apply will be Monday, 1/22. I expect there will only be 2 Saturdays with extended hours (2/3 and 3/3, 10:00-14:00) and 2 Mondays with extended hours (2/12 and 3/?? until 19:00), otherwise drop-off and pick-up will require taking time off from work to go between 09:00 and 15:30 so I can maintain the document that Article I Section 21 says I don't need...
