Default Medical marijuana and license to carry

Hey all, pretty important question for me. Anyone know whether a medical marijuana card effects your permit in PA? I have arthritis and would like an option besides narcotics for pain management, but am not sure if a MM card would effect my license status. Help from anyone having any experience with this or an understanding of the legalities would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Yes it's illegal and they would take your LTCF.

    In Philly?

LOL....they're probably already working on revoking and confiscating your guns over your post.

The official position of the feds, and by default the PSP, is you are using a controlled substance and therefore cannot posses firearms.

Official position of the Feds is pot is illegal, why isn't that also the position of the PSP? Playing political games with enforcing the laws, is the Petrie dish of corruption. It will grow the fungus of despots and dictators. These half assed pot laws are the elitests magic beans to sell to the uneducated and ignorant for the lowly sum of these people's precious inheritance, liberty and freedom of oppression. Funny how the same ones licensing the pot are running the schools, isn't it?

So when you make application for a medical marijuana license, do they tell you possession and purchase of firearms will be illegal for simply being issued the license? Don’t they have to prove you are using it?

I don't think arthritis qualifies for medicinal marijuana in Pennsylvania anyways?

    Post-traumatic Stress Disorder.

Severe chronic or intractable pain of neuropathic origin or severe chronic or intractable pain in which conventional therapeutic intervention and opiate therapy is contraindicated or ineffective
    .

There's the hook for anyone that's on "pain management" to be eligible. The way doctors hand out meds, and disability I'm sure getting MM won't be difficult.
If you have chronic anything, cronic will be your savior.
