Another vote for a model 10. The one I own is a 10-8, I paid $175 for it about 16 years ago. It is a great gun and will be the one i pass down at some point.
Some people just plain suck.
If you're gonna be dumb ya gotta be tough.

Surplus City in Feasterville has/had a limited supply of used, stainless S&W 64's for $295 each as well as used model 15's for $310. Bit of a drive from where you are.
