Default Lyman micro touch 1500 scale problem.

Hello everyone. I bought as the title says and I zero out the scale and place the 100g weight on it and the scale reads 100.08g every time. Anyone else ever have a problem with this scale.

I don't think your reading the directions. You don't just zero a scale. You calibrate it. Did you check that it's level and turn it on 24 hrs and then calibrate. A scale is a delicate instrument. You can induce all kinds of errors. Instructions are on the web.

Not uncommon for a cheap check weight to read nominal +/- 0.1%. For a 100g weight, it could be from 99.9 to 100.1 g.

But do follow the calibration procedure for the equipment.
