Re: For those of you heading out for the New Year Celebration...
I'm going to a party my wife wants to go to....so I can go be in an environment I don't want to be in, surrounded by people engaged in activities that I find obnoxious......while trying to not look too bored or annoyed, and without entertaining myself too much by using my cell phone to be on here. Gonna be a rough several hours. Then I get to drive home in the dark, on icy roads, for an hour or so, while trying to avoid drunk drivers and cops. Best last day of the year, EVER!!!!!

Re: For those of you heading out for the New Year Celebration...
Does anyone REALLY celebrate "the New Year", or is it mostly like St Patrick's Day - any excuse to get drunk?
I may of may not be awake when this thing kicks off. Worked too much - feeling sleepy already.

Re: For those of you heading out for the New Year Celebration...
I never needed an excuse to get drunk. I'm having my usual allowance of foamy goodness today an will most likely be asleep at midnite. Too cold to got out and make any noise. I sometime run off a magazine of blanks thru an AR or my M-1A.
