Any H & K lovers?

Picked up a VP9 for cheap off a guy who needed $$$ badly. It was a gun bash prize and unfired. That lasted until the second day I had it. Ran 100 rounds thru it with no problems and seemed to hit everything I aimed at. I'd shoot it some more but it's just too damn cold out. Awaiting a holster now, and warmer weather.

They are well engineered; but I'm not sure a polymer framed pistol would be the best choice of an heirloom. In 50-80 years, I'd be worried about the structural integrity of the polymer.

An good heirloom would be a 1911 or a revolver.

I love HK.
However, they are snobs when it comes to the civilian market.
Sure, they'll sell you some pistols.
But they refuse to sell semi-auto versions of their rifles and pistol caliber carbines.

Sig does, FN does, CZ does and others too.

I really love my VP9. The LEM system HK has is prettt cool too.

Yeah appreciating in value...how about that.I got mine in a trade several years ago,a bit before their prices started to go up.
