The only thing I'll say is that if I ever get thirsty when in South St Lewis I know where I'll stop for some liquid refreshments

I hope I'm never dispossessed of the notion I have to wait and see if a goblin is going to open up or not. If I feel threatened, I'm going to act. Displaying a firearm with the manifest intent to use it to attain compliance from anyone, for anything, is a threat to the safety of everybody within range. I'm not going to spend a whole bunch of time supposing someone who's predisposed to pulling it, isn't also likewise going to use it. Flies in the face of logic.

why was no one else carrying?
did the owner cause any of the injuries?
the courts are going to bend the owner over the bar on this one.

i was under the impression that forcing compliance of a criminal at gunpoint was a no-no.
i also figure that they have the time between draw and fire to decide what they're going to do but more than likely their prior actions will be what decide their future.

just another reason to sit in the far corner of bars.

Under these circumstances, is the perp gonna waste all the patrons?
Under those circumstances you have no idea whether he's just a robber or some guy who decided today was the day he was going to start listening to what his neighbor's dog has been telling him

You don't pull on a drawn gun.

Unless you want to get shot or think you are Rambo

Unless a distraction is provided to take the focus off the firearm. Ala "dropping" your wallet full of bills on the floor, acting scared, moving away and then drawing on a distracted perp
