Default Got my first LTCF today

Went to the new Bucks County Justice Center this AM. Was done in 45 minutes. A couple of people ahead of me.

The sheriff who was handling the apps lost some time when she had to find some applications that were missing and screwing up the money received balancing from the previous day.

Now to get the wife to go.

While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

It is a great step in being a responsible firearm owner. Having no idea what level or experience you have, zero or hundreds of hours, training from a reputable instructor is never a bad idea. The more the better.

    Agreed.
Please, please, please, get some proper training.
Carrying a firearm to defend yourself is your right, carrying a firearm safely is your responsibility.

Right now I don't intend to carry, the LTCF is to cover all the bases when going to the range, but training never hurts. And you never know where the future will take you.

Great! Fantastic reason to get your LTCF. I remember when we were may issue and this wasn't an option.

Do make yourself available to some of the many free law seminars. It's well spent time.

Get a few books on self defense to get yourself familiar with the subject. You have new options, might as well learn about them.

    Be safe and enjoy life.

    Thats good news.
When you do decide to start carrying, be sure and buy a quality holster.
A lot of newbies go get a walmart holster and usually regret it right away.
