LOL. Just today (after 10 years of self-employment) my wife said to me "It's funny: leaving in the morning, you always used to say 'time to go to work...' but now you say 'time to go make money'..."

That's about exactly it, ain't it?

    Yep.
There's really no comparison to running your own show.
How can you have any cookies if you don't drink your milk?

Sure there is: Safe, secure, regular paychecks. Until they decide to lay you off, etc.

I'm not one to downplay the effort and risk involved in self-employment.

For me... it's worth it. But I 'get' folks who prefer the 'regularity' of working for someone else.

    I hear you.
I've done both, pros and cons to both.
    Whatever works.

Same here. It won't go bad in the box so sooner or later I'll get it out there.

Had a shield for quite some time now. It has become my primary EDC however I will sometimes carry other guns. When PSA had the sale along with the S&W rebate I jumped on that opportunity to get another shield. It took so long for the rebate to come in that I forgot about it but even at the pre rebate sale price from PSA it was still a hell of a good deal in my opinion. The one I carry most of the time has no safety, by the time I ordered from PSA the only ones available had the thumb safety. I still haven't shot the new one but I am sure it will do just as fine as the old one. As far as an OWB I use a desantis mini scabbard. IWB I have a ton of different holsters but my favorite is a desantis soft tuk
