New Ruger PC Carbine

After viewing the video review, I would, at this time, like to extend and correct previous remarks :

1) The boys at Ruger didn't just adapt a design ... they re-engineered it. That's worth a few bucks in R&D.

2) I want one

3) The price is still too high, but let's see where it lands.

There are a few comments on it being too expensive. Since when did a 600.00 rifle become too expensive ? I think we have become too spoiled over the last year

I’ve personally seen it being listed for as low as $519.00 shipped and that was pre orders. A member of mother site sailed he has the 1st two allocated to him from his FFL for $475 ish OTD.

...saw one being sold yesterday @ $499. plus tax & transfer. It was one of two the shop hard received, both sold before they hit the loading dock.

As for the comment re "being spoiled..." , each person has his/her own idea of value for money. Even though I now want one, let's face it, this is not a precision rifle - it's a plastic pistol- caliber carbine. Let's see where the price lands, and how the used market eventually treats these.

After seeing the MAC video with the teardown I think I'll have to buy one once the .40 version comes out.(I'm sure a .40 version will come out) I should be able to take the 9mm version rechamber the barrel in .357sig, put in a .40 bolt face and extractor. Make my own little .357sig carbine.
