    Default New Ruger PC Carbine

Just announced today a new Ruger PC Carbine in 9mm. Ships with the ability to accept Ruger SR9 mags or Glock mags. Take down model. I want one since I already have an SR9 and a bunch of mags. Buy now, or wait to see what other variations there will be....hmmm.

    Oh WOW! The PC9 REBORN!!!

Always wanted one! Those and the Marlin Camp 9 carbine seemed to have been released at a bad time - when nobody was all THAT interested in a 9mm carbine.

    Hot damn! Do want!

Too expensive when you factor the sub2k and highpoint.

Not even remotely in the same league.

Although each has their own unique pluses.

I would think that, once the novelty/new-product premium wears off, the street price should be in the low $400-range, pretty close to that of Sub2000. Bonus point: perhaps the increased competition would force the Sub2000's price lower... one can hope,

I think part of the reason it's "ugly" is the result of the break down feature removing the upper covered area over the barrel as well as the addition of functional rails and a muzzle that is threaded.

All of which add function over form to some extent.
Some people just like to bitch. I don't see a lot of valid things to bitch about on this one - unless it's not even remotely the type of carbine you want.

^This!!^ Plus there will likely be different versions/varieties that may have different stocks (more tacticool?). Look at how the American Rifle has taken off.

Do want... although I'll be holding out for one in .40S&W or .45ACP. The ability to use Glock mags is a major plus.

You lost me at ability to accept Glock mag...is this a selling point? Must be.

I have P89 mags everywhere so I'm good with my OG PC9, thanks for the heads up though.
