Re: New Ruger PC Carbine
Looks like a cool gun.
I just dont like regular stocks.
Maybe if they had a collapsible variant."One must be a fox to recognize traps, and a lion to frighten wolves” ~ Machiavelli

Re: New Ruger PC Carbine
I just might have to put this "dandy little carbine" on my things to get in 2018.
Great...the list is getting longer, and it isn't even 2018 yet.
So far, I'm wanting an LCP II and a yet to be determined O/U shotgun (and a personal AED )
Now, this gun. Decisions...decisions...decisions.

Re: New Ruger PC Carbine
-Ugly.
~Delayed blow back, I'd like to shoot it with a can to see...
-Priced too high for what it is, take-down or not.
+Takes Glock mags.
If Ruger is/were thinking, make it fit ALL 10/22 accessories, like stocks to get rid of some ugly points.
Seriously, I'd like to see the guts to see what delayed bolt is doing.Last edited by Nate7667; December 28th, 2017 at 10:46 PM.

Re: New Ruger PC Carbine
I like that it is what it is - a rifle - not a rifle that's pretending to be an AR15.
Once they start trying to be something else, it just becomes silly - if you want an AR15, buy an AR15 - don't try to modify something that was never meant to be into one.
I prefer the classic lines of the original PC9 carbine, but this one is not really that bad. Could have been a lot more ugly for sure.

Re: New Ruger PC Carbine
Surprised the hell out of me they made it to accept Glock mags. Sure would have thought Ruger would have been Ruger and came up with another overpriced magazine that is not compatible with many or any of their other pistols.

Re: New Ruger PC Carbine
Have you ever owned or shot a Sub2k? I'm left handed and have zero issues shooting my wife's Sub2k. Folding it with optics is not an issue if you use a QD optic mount. My wife runs a Holosun red dot on her gun mounted to a $10 QD UTG 1" riser. It takes a handful of seconds to remove the sight, fold the gun, and mount it to the underside of the handguard. Deploying is just as easy and it maintains zero. MCARBO is working on a flip style mount for the Sub2k that will make folding and deployment even easier.
