Re: New Ruger PC Carbine
Mentioned deer hunt with 9mm ? I hunted deer a long time ago with a Beretta 9mm with black talons, took a doe at 60 yards with a heart shot and dropped the doe where it stood,Another deer with my old Marlin Camp Nine 100 yards scoped and another heart shot dropping the buck within 25 yards.

Re: New Ruger PC Carbine
The original Ruger PC9 was out around the same time the Marlin was on the market.
I don't think there was enough demand for a pistol caliber carbine at that time and both were eventually discontinued.
I absolutely love my Camp 9 and if I had the money, I'd have the Ruger PC9 as well.
The Sub 2000 may be a good carbine for certain people with certain "wants", but I have never had much interest in one other than the novelty of having one. I'm WAY more inclined to spend money on one of these Rugers than on a foldy, ugly Kel-Tec carbine. "Folding" isn't a huge selling point for ME, so that feature doesn't amount to much for me.
I want to wish that Marlin would reintroduce the Camp 9, but today's "Marlin" would probably just fuck it all up.
For the young'uns who don't remember the 80s, this was Marlin's pistol caliber carbine - the Model 9, or "Camp 9".
It was also offered in 45ACP using 1911 mags.
I love this thing. Heavy, but handy and accurate.

Re: New Ruger PC Carbine
Sub2k also has had bad reports from lefties experiencing gas to the face, has its charging handle in an awkward spot, and the stock (really just a tube) leaves much to be desired. Also you cannot fold the Sub2k with optics.
On paper this Ruger is all around way better. And if everyone can replicate Jeff's groups then the accuracy is there too.

Re: New Ruger PC Carbine
Ugly as sin, I'll stick with the 9mm AR's.
